Cortney Mosle, MS, OTR/L
founder and clinical director
Provides in-school & in-home occupational therapy
“I have nothing but positive things to say about Cortney. My two boys received occupational therapy from her for 2 years, from the ages of 3 and 2. My oldest has ASD and is notoriously hard to motivate. My youngest had developmental delays and SPD with a lot of tactile sensitivity. Cortney tailored their program to be specific to their needs and personalities. She got to know them on a deep level and really listened to them. I was constantly impressed with the progress they made. She was also wonderful about communicating their goals, challenges and progress to me and was also available to answer any questions. We live in a different state now, but I still feel comfortable asking her questions and sharing the boys’ progress. She is kind, patient, flexible, loving and she knows her stuff.”
Owner and Founder of The Point, Occupational Therapy in Montgomery County, Maryland. Cortney attended the University of Maryland to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and went on to gain her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Cortney has worked as a pediatric occupational therapist in various settings for 11 years with extensive experience and continuing education in motor planning and praxis, visual perceptual-motor skills, ocular motor skills, fine motor and gross motor development, feeding therapy, and sensory processing. She received her training and certification in the Handwriting Without Tears ® Pre-K through 5th Grade curriculum, Cursive Curriculum, as well as in the administration of the Print Tool™ Assessment, to become a Level 1 Handwriting Specialist. Cortney is also trained and certified in the Astronaut Training Protocol, Talk Tools- A Sensory Motor Approach to Feeding, and Executive Functioning.
When Cortney is not sharing her love for OT, she enjoys spending time with her husband, George, and two kids, Leo and Naomi. She believes that raising two children is not only the best gift, but also one of the greatest contributions to her field of expertise.
“Cortney has been a tremendous help for our 5-year-old son. She quickly identified areas for intervention that we had not recognized nearly as well. Most importantly, she has delivered amazing results with her weekly sessions, producing rapid and durable improvements in our son’s grip strength, dexterity, stamina, and accuracy. We are very satisfied with Cortney’s work and would highly recommend her to any parents looking to improve their child’s skills. Even better, my son absolutely loves working with her!

“Ms. Micky is really a gem and all 4 of my kids hit it off with her right away. My kids have varying needs and temperaments and she expertly individualizes sessions to both increase their skills and incorporate their interests. She comes in with a plan but can completely pivot if necessary. She also works seamlessly with other members of our kids’ teams. She will be away this summer and we would rather pause sessions than introduce a new OT-that’s how special she is!”
“We have been seeing Miss Mikkayla for 6 months and she is the absolute best! She goes above and beyond for my son and has been incredibly helpful communicating with us, his school, and other therapists. We could not have gotten through this school year without her! Cortney has also been amazing in helping us navigate the OT process, working with our ever changing schedule, and providing us with awesome opportunities like OT groups!

We increased our sessions to 2x/week over the summer just because it brought so much joy. Seeing how proud he was of his progress was an awesome experience as a parent, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Summer for that.
