What’s The Point?
The Point Occupational Therapy provides private pediatric occupational therapy services in-school, in-home, in-daycare, and in-community. The Point OT is founded on the premise that development and maintenance of new skills is optimized when the skills are carried over in a child’s natural environment and a child’s entire team network are involved in the process of building on function. We value our relationships with caregivers, teachers and physicians, and prioritize collaboration between all professionals as it is essential to create effective carry-over for efficiency of progress. We provide occupational therapy services in homes, preschools, daycares, private schools, and/or other community settings. The Point OT has been designed to enhance each child’s motivation and participation in the therapeutic process while using years of experience and research-based, family-centered approaches.

Cortney strives to get to ‘the point’, working deeply with your child, family unit, and their school team to progress their therapy goals as efficiently as possible! Cortney specializes in analyzing and locating fundamental foundational challenges impacting all areas of your child’s day.
Services
The Point Occupational Therapy works with children at various ages and skill levels. We provide occupational therapy services in the Montgomery County area in-homes, in-schools, and in-office.
In-school and in-home Occupational Therapy
Consultation, Screening/Observation, Evaluation, Therapeutic Sessions, Collaboration with Team Members
Educators
Provide workshops and school-wide/classroom observations. Provide recommendations and assist in implementation of strategies and programs for inclusion and success of all students.
Enrichment Groups
Small group enrichment programs are offered throughout the year, and as requested by families and/or schools.
